2nd Annual Christmas Schooner Play/Dinner PDF Print E-mail

We have once again we are hosting an outing celebrating the Anniversary of the sinking of the Christmas Tree Ship…

The Rouse Simmons!

The tale of this ship is legendary and the story has a resonating theme of history, family and tradition that is not only particularly fitting for the holiday season but for always!

Come join us for our Second Annual group outing to "The Christmas Schooner" play on Saturday, December 14 at 2 pm!! We had such a wonderful turn out last year and such a marvelous time that we are hosting this event again and are hoping for an even larger attendance by our family and friends!! Last year we were able to hit 30!
Join the UASC and the Chicago Scuba Meetup (CSM) for an afternoon at the:

MERCURY THEATRE!!
December 14, 2013 at 2 pm
3745 North Southport Avenue
Chicago IL
773-325-1700
Price $35 p.p.
The performance lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.

This musical is wonderful for the entire family! As a group, we will obtain preferred seating and a deeply discounted ticket rate, therefore, we will again, open up attendance to our entire scuba family!!
If you or someone you know is interested in attending, please have them contact Julie Scheibe by phone at 847-409-4816 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so that we can reserve them seating with our group!

AFTERWARDS:
Our group will again be continuing onto a secondary location attached to the Theatre for dinner after the play, if you would like to join us. I have secured reservations again with Cullen's, an excellent Irish Pub. We will be moving from the play to dinner at 4:30 pm. We will need a final count of Dinner attendance before the 20th of November to reserve seating.
As Cullen's could not provide our guest's with separate checks, I have garnered a "Price Fixe" private menu with them for our group. This way, separation of individual charges will be very easy.
For $15.00 per person... each person will be able to choose one item off of a private menu of 5 sandwiches/entrees with a side. This price is inclusive of soda/coffee/tea as well as tax and gratuity! Cocktails will also be flowing and can be ordered individually from the cash bar or the waitress.
The menu will be...
1) Cheeseburger
2) Chicken Sandwich
3) Reuben
4) Chicken Pot Pie
5) Shepherd's Pie

Please join us for this fantastic Holiday Tradition!

We look forward to this celebration with all of our friends and family!!! We hope more of you will join us! The more the merrier! This is quickly becoming the UASC kick off to the holiday season!! Can't wait to see you all there and look forward to sharing this event with all of you!!
