UASC members, we need your opinion to help us design the site.

Please cut/paste the text of this survey to an email, answer the questions and email to the site designer (sammydog09@gmail.com). Thanks!

Questions:

Imagine that you are local 'Chicagoan' interested in diving and underwater history and are looking on the Internet for some information.

  1. What search words would you use? (ask your spouse, kids or friends too!)
  2. If you found the UASC site, what tag line under the site name would catch your interest?
  3. What are the first three things you'd expect to find when linking to the site (remember, imagine you are not a UASC member, but are just looking around for information.
  4. What would be the most valuable 2 things the site could do for you?

Now, imagine that you are "not from around here". Please answer the same questions. If you have relatives out of town, please ask them? How would your answers be differnet if you didn't know anything about Chicago?

Now you can stop imaging and answer questions as a member -

  1. What are the top 3 things you want the site to communicate to non-members?
  2. What are the top 5 things you, as a member, what to know, when you go to the site? Of these, what is the most important peice of information?

Please answer the following questions by assinging an importance 1-5 (1 = 'not important, 5 = "The most important")

What else should this site communicate, accomplish, do that hasn't been mentioned? Give us your ideas.

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. I'll summarize the results I get and keep them posted to this sie as we go.
